Purpose of the Role: 
To establish and maintain appropriate management systems to ensure that our client's activities are conducted according to best operating practices in Safety, Health, Environmental, Waste Management and Security and that appropriate measures are in place to ensure the safety and security of the Site Operations facility. Manage risk control activities with regard to people, plant and facilities.
Role Dimensions: 
Reports to Operations Director
Key Responsibilities: 
Provides technical and managerial leadership and direction for EHS on site
Devise, consult on and lead the effective implementation of appropriate Environmental, Safety, Health, Waste Management and Security policies, procedures and practices at the Site Operations 
Advise Site Operations Senior Manager on EHS matters to raise awareness and bring concerns to Senior Manager's attention
Devise and implement training programmes to ensure that all employees are aware of good safety practices and receive suitable on the job training for EHS and security
Implement and support best practice in risk assessment 
Devise and implement Safety Monitoring systems
Manage the departmental and Senior Manager safe visit/ safety tour programme
Conduct formal monthly reporting and review of Safety Management practices and performance with site operating teams
Identify changes in external EHS legislation and best practice and support appropriate responses to these changes from the Operations teams
Be a focal point for site facility contact with EHS enforcing authorities for security matters
Ensure that records required to support Safety Management Systems are kept in good order and that EHS information sources meet the needs of the business
To manage the Security and Waste Contracts
Develop the role of Staff Safety Representatives to strengthen EHS standards and performance, Act as chairperson for the EHS committee.
Monitor and develop the EHS culture amongst all employees
To manage and develop the EHS team providing guidance for them to achieve their objectives and Personal Development Plans
Continuously evaluates the productivity and effectiveness of the EHS department and makes recommendations for improvement.
Provide EHS support to our client's facilities in Europe on an ad-hoc basis
Provide their major product's production facilities with an efficient means of disposal of waste streams through the management of waste in compliance with current legislation
Ensure IPCC environmental authorisation to operate the site is in place and maintained 
Ensure that our consent to discharge trade effluent is in place and maintained and manage site facilities to achieve this
Manage facility Fire Certification to ensure compliance with the Fire Reform Act
Manages the EHS Cost Centre budget.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced project manager to act as a liaison between the client and organisation to ensure that all needs are met concerning both project budgets and timelines. 
Main Job Responsibilities:
• Manage an appropriate number of active projects for pre-formulation onwards for major clients.
• Lead project meetings, teleconferences, face-to-face interactions, including the generation of team minutes.
• Generation, updating and facilitating agreement to project plans, including the accuracy of revenue forecasting, data transfer to the Sales Order Register (SOR), and timely invoicing to clients on completion of project milestones.
• Manage the generation, monitoring and control of assigned project Timesheets, ensuring full transparency of performance versus budget for all assigned projects, within the project teams, and with the Senior Management team.
• Resolves project issues and resource constraints within the team 
• Facilitate positive team member interactions and manage conflict
• Manage client satisfaction by managing client expectations efficiently. Proven ability to keep client relationships on track and ability to mend difficult relationships. 
• Responsible for timely preparation, negotiation and approval of all Changes of Scope, involving the relevant business manager(s) where appropriate
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Background: Chemistry/ Pharmacy/ Biological Sciences
Pharmaceutical Development, Clinical trials Manufacture, Commercial Manufacture, 
Project Management, Financial awareness, Client contact
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to communicate at all levels
