Reporting to the Manager, Mammalian Process Development Facility, you will be responsible for: • Conducting experiments to develop upstream cell culture processes for manufacturing Monoclonal Antibodies and/or other mammalian-derived products. • Developing methods suitable for scale-up and production of pre-clinical material. • Preparing technical reports, validation protocols, SOPs and process documentation. • Leading and conducting studies to establish upstream platform processes suitable for production of multiple mammalian products. It is essential that Applicants have: • Knowledge of biotech and pharma industry and development of mammalian-derived biological pharmaceutical products. • A Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Biological Science, ideally with a related PhD. • A minimum of 2 years experience in development of protein products in cell culture. • Experience of controlled bioreactor operation, medium and feed design for mammalian cells to meet target product release specifications.
