An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hydrogeologist to join an established environmental consultancy in Warwickshire. 
A large part of their services are to examine various sites’ hydrogeological characteristics of soil, groundwater and surface water contamination and then evaluating the associated risks. With over twenty years of successfully delivering tailored environmental solutions to their clients, you will be joining a team of specialists and a company able to support you in your role and career development. 
They currently require a Technical Director (or somebody able to step up to this) to continue, grow and be responsible for the technical quality of their Geological &amp; hydrogeological Services. This individual will provide technical input to the Hydrogeology/Geology department through assessment of risks and liabilities associated with contaminated land for a variety of purposes including pre-acquisition due diligence and insurance, assessment of contamination in soil, groundwater and surface water and carry out groundwater risk assessments prior to the development of landfill sites and mineral extractions.
This is a very much hands-on role and you will be a key member within the company and be expected to play a proactive role in company performance, management and the development of new business opportunities. You will also assist to provide project direction and manage and support consultants in your team. 
Key Requirements:
•Min relevant BSc and ideally MSc / Chartered Geologist
•Several years experience in a similar role. 
•Experience specifically in minerals, waste or contaminated land
•Project Management experience within budget and time constraints
•Managerial and business development experience within consultancy environment
•Previous experience working with Quality 
Management Systems would be an advantage
.
