Company Overview
Opportunities for Scientific Staff
Established in 2006, Oxyrane is a fast growing venture capital funded biotech company, with offices situated in the Manchester Science Park and a fully-owned subsidiary in Ghent, Belgium.
Oxyrane utilises proprietary recombinant yeast glyco-technologies to access commercial opportunities, ranging from biocatalysis to therapeutic production. Focused on product opportunity identification and development,
Oxyrane has a cross-functional core team comprised of highly skilled scientists, in disciplines covering medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, fermentation, and protein science. The company has recently expanded its technical capability to the production of single glycoform therapeutic proteins, and non-fucosylated antibodies utilising a powerful suite of platform engineering tools.
Oxyrane continues to expand to address its target product and market opportunities. The company staff complement has grown 300% since 2007, and Oxyrane was recently awarded a £1.9 million competitive grant by the UK Technology Strategy Board, as the lead partner of a consortium which includes the Institute of Biotechnology in Cambridge, and the National Biomanufacturing Centre at Speke.
The company is now seeking talented, motivated scientists across a range of scientific disciplines, to advance internal and collaborative product development programmes. As part of a young, dynamic organisation, you will be exposed to cutting edge Research and Development opportunities with global thought leaders. As an integral part of an entrepreneurial team, you will be expected to assume significant responsibilities at an early stage.
Oxyrane offers competitive packages in addition to fast-tracked personal and professional development opportunities.
