Cenix BioScience is a 10 year old biotechnology company, specializing in Nobel prize-winning RNAi gene silencing technology to advance therapeutic drug discovery and development. We carry out complex, customized research projects of all scales for both industry and academia in a wide range of major disease fields, and also develop novel technologies.

Having successfully completed numerous studies for such major clients Bayer-Schering, Merck-Serono and AstraZeneca, we have assembled a highly multi-disciplinary and international team, working within state-of-the-art facilities at the heart of Dresden’s growing life science research community.

To support the growth of our High Throughput Cell Screening Unit, Cenix now seeks to fill the following positions:

Technical Research Assistant
for HT-RNAi Cell Screening Unit
(Pos. code TRA-HTCS)


You will:

* Carry out wide range of microtiter plate-based experimentation, including plate reader- and automated microscopy-based assays and qRT-PCR assays on cultured mammalian cells.

But first, you need:

* Technician or BSc training plus >2 yrs experience in mammalian cell-based research, including tissue culture, PCR and microscopy;
* Excellent concentration, strong attention to detail, good documentation skills;
* Strong ability to work in a team.
