You will take a leading role in design and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects making use of your engineering abilities and CAD skills involved with projects at all stages from contract negotiation to final delivery. Responsibilities can include: concept generation, analysis of system architectures, mechanical design, layouts of systems in CAD, tolerance analysis of product designs and preparation of technical reports.

To be considered, you need an excellent first degree in an engineering or science discipline and have plenty of practical experience and technical skills in the healthcare industry; experience in development of inhalation or injection devices and systems with focus on mechanism design, stress analysis and mould flow analysis is a distinct advantage. You understand manufacture and assembly processes from one off designs to high volume manufacturing and need significant experience in 3D CAD.

Self-motivated, a team player and highly enthusiastic about design and development of drug delivery products you will also need a good understanding of ISO 13485 and QSR.
