Role
A vacancy has arisen for the role of Site Contracting & Budgeting Associate within Clinical Site Management This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to develop their skills & understanding of the Clinical Trails environment. This is an extremely important position within an ever growing clinical trial department. The role involves working with site staff, CRAs, CTAs, local project managers and legal to ensure that sites are set up in a timely manner so that the clinical trial can commence. There is a great deal of team work involved with people both internally and external.
Responsibilities
*Manages all site-related contracting and budget negotiations.
*Process and track related payments in a timely and efficient manner.
*Negotiates contract, study budget and milestones with site within defined parameters
*Supports resolution of contract issues
*Supports contracting with local vendors
*Ensure payments are made in accordance with contracts
*Maintains contract and payment data tracking in appropriate systems
*Actively contributes to results oriented department goals
*Drives continuous improvement
*Promotes operational and scientific excellence
*Identifies opportunities and best practices with local and regional partners that will contribute to overall operational effectiveness
Decision Making Authority
*Decision to involve legal/paralegals
*Agreement of budgets, within parameters and approval of payment milestones
Person
Basic Qualifications
*A-level, baccalaureate or local equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
*BA/BS/BSc in the sciences or qualified nurse
Experience
*Finance administration, project management, contracting or other relevant experience
*Knowledge of contracting processes
Preferred Experience
*Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry experience
