A truly unique opportunity exists for an experienced toxicologist to join a market leading toxicology consultancy as a Senior Toxicologist, with the potential to rapidly progress into a board level position.
In this role you will be working with a broad range of organisations including FTSE 100 companies, international regulatory bodies and a wide variety of commercial enterprises. Our client enjoys a strong element of repeat business but continues to add new customers, attracted by the company’s reputation for quality of technical expertise, service, and overall professionalism. As a senior member of the team you will work both with existing clients as well as help to develop strong new customer relationships. You will also support and lead colleagues within the organisation.
Our client is a toxicology consultancy with an international reputation and naturally seeks a first class toxicologist with excellent technical skills and a genuine passion for their subject matter. They expect that the successful applicant will have the ability to provide expert guidance to help customers find solutions to their most demanding hazard and risk assessment related toxicological challenges.
To succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate:
• An enthusiasm and proven toxicology pedigree in a desk-based role
• Membership of an appropriate professional organisation: British Toxicological Society, Eurotox, Society of Toxicology, or Institute of Biology (now Society of Biology), and a commitment to your own professional development.
• Strong academic achievement and intellectual rigour
• Good project management skills
In addition, you will also need to have the potential for leadership:
• Management experience, or the ambition and potential to take on a managerial role
• An understanding or desire/ willingness to learn broad-based business skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in the face of changing technical and commercial information
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
