Currently, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an opening for a Senior Research Technologist (Job Number 18046).
The Senior Research Technologist in the Chemical Biology and Therapeutics Department participates in the development and validation of biochemical and cell-based assays for High Throughput Screening (HTS); implements HTS, collects, analyzes and reports data; participates in the daily activities of the HTS Center; maintains instruments, conducts trouble-shooting and quality control initiatives; performs other duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the High Throughput Center and the department.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field and 3 years (post-degree) of relevant and productive work experience OR
* A Master's degree in an appropriate scientific field and 2 years (post-degree) of relevant and productive work experience OR
* A PhD in an appropriate scientific field with no additional experience.
Preferred skills:
* Experience with bioassay development, automation, high-throughput screening, high-content screening and RNAi technology is preferred.
