Leading medical communications agency in Oxford is seeking a talented and committed Senior Medical Writer to join their team in the production of high quality medical education materials. The agency offers an excellent salary and benefits, a stimulating working environment and flexibility.

The role involves undertaking writing of manuscripts as required including clinical papers, abstracts, product monographs, PowerPoint slides etc.
Undertaking research in the therapy area to allow effective writing in the editorial style required
Working with job specification, including time allocation and agreed budgets; working closely with Editorial Director and account team and ensuring writing work is of high scientific and literary standards and meets objectives Responsibility for the timely, effective and efficient tactical implementation of selected projects.

Liaise with clients with full understanding of medical and marketing issues relating to the client, product and therapy area and of the role medical education plays in the client’s business environment

Become familiar with all key journals in each client’s therapy area

Essential Attributes:

Research planning and briefing skills
Scheduling of projects
Quality detail and accuracy control
Excellent writing, editing and proof reading
Excellent communication and people management skills
