It posesses a strong pipeline particularly within the field of Oncology. They now have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Manager to join their International Health Economics Evidence team.
Basic Qualifications
Advanced degree in either - Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Medical or Statistics
Experience
Track record of designing and implementing studies in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or public health in industry,government, hospital, CRO or academia
Prior leadership experience with clinical and scientific studies in the areas of Outcomes Research or Epidemiology
Successful performance in cross-functional teams
Track record of scientific publications
Knowledge
Technical and scientific knowledge in economics research methodology applied to healthcare
Knowledge of European regulatory approvals, drug development and pricing and reimbursement strategies is beneficial
Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to design studies generating the Health Economics (HE) component of the evidence required by
iHE to support access strategies in the international region; and to organise and supervise the execution of such studies.
This position has responsbility for:
Designing and delivering HE components of diverse studies inc. large scale observational studies, database studies, or
single centre studies supporting market access strategy
Co-ordinating input from HE colleagues based globally, regionally and/or locally to ensure most efficient study design
meeting local needs, while maintaining highest quality
Alignment and team dynamics of multiple functions involved in study execution to achieve objectives on time and budget
Performing HE-specific tasks from study design development to dissemination
Key activities include:
Design and execution of studies:
Working with iHE product lead and product team, translates strategic value messages into researchable questions and
practical studies
Organizes external expert contribution to plans and studies
Develops study strategic documents including concept document
Oversees protocol writing, data analysis and reporting, in particular provides oversight for developing study-related materials
such as study protocols and plans, training manuals, case report forms, focus group or interview guides, recruitment
materials, data analysis plans
Leads study internal approval process
Leads the development of final reports
Leads the execution of the study publication plan for Europe, ensuring alignment with product communication strategy and
global publication plan
Expertise:
Provides input into clinical development and observational studies to ensure inclusion of relevant Health Economics
parameters to support product access strategy
Provides scientific consultation to colleagues on health economics research aspects
Conducts detailed HE literature searches, reviews and prepares reports or tools to support health economics research
projects.
Performs specialized health economic analytical tasks
