Role Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities

* Management of a section of the Supplies team, and assisting the Team Leader.
* Developing drug dispensing capabilities according to the current and future needs
* The supervision or participation in the preparing Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) for dispatch within the UK , EU and Ireland.
*Ensure quality service in the drug supplies delivery for clinical studies and ensure compliance with the relevant UK legislation GMP, GDP and SOPs.
*Contribute to strengthening relationships between the Hertfordshire site and a site in France to ensure consistency of approach and transfer of best practices.
*Very close collaboration with the R&D department


Experience and Skills Required

Essential:

* Qualified Pharmacist
* Knowledge of UK, GXP and transport regulations
*Working knowledge of packaging and preparation of IMPs.
* Extensive experience in early pharmaceutical operations and clinical trials in a CRO, Pharma or Biotech environment.

Highly Desirable:

* Regulatory experience
* Bi-lingual (French & English, or English & German ) desirable
* International experience
* Experience of managing a multicultural team
* Line management experience
* Experience of working within a matrix team
* Hospital Pharmacy experience
