Freelance £415 a day OR Permanent through Clinical Professionals up to £58k
Client Summary
Our client is a leading Pharmaceutical company with a broad range of products. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Global Project Manager to join this company. You will be office based in a location easily commutable from Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Surrey or South or West London.
Role Summary:
*Responsible for the planning and management of clinical studies, managing outsourcing and overseeing the financial aspects of the studies. Writes protocols and reports for regulatory submissions. May lead large or complex clinical research programs or studies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Leads the clinical team to develop and deliver the development plan, and provides input to the development strategy.
* Creates risk benefit analysis to make recommendations to align with therapeutic and corporate strategies.
* Authors protocols, sections of investigator brochures and oversees study report writing.
* Oversees the selection and management of CRO activities.
* Coordinates/oversees the delivery of clinical trial supplies.
* Develops and reviews budget for clinical development program.
* Responsible for planning of investigator's meetings.
* Monitors the progress of clinical activity and produces regular reports
* Establishes and supports the activity of expert advisory groups within programs.
* May representative programs at regulatory agency meetings.
Education & Experience Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or nursing qualification required.
* Detailed clinical research experience with evidence of increasing responsibility within a pharmaceutical company or CRO or similar organization. Experience of regulatory submissions is desirable.
* Able to:
Show current knowledge of regulatory requirements
Create protocols and informed consents.
Provide expertise in financial budgeting
Travel frequently
