Medical communications agency in the London region has a vacancy for a Senior Account Manager, or an Account Manager ready to take the step, to proactively manage designated client accounts. Our client is a well-established friendly company specialising in ethical medical communications internationally.
The role:
As Senior Account Manager you will manage the delivery of educational accounts supporting several different therapeutics areas.
Be the principal client contact on all account management issues.
Identify the client’s communications needs to achieve marketing objectives on designated accounts, take clear and accurate client briefs and communicate these effectively to team members within the agency.
Ensure all designated projects are completed to time and budget.
Contribute to new business development and recognize new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Assist in training, developing and mentoring new/junior client services staff.
Deputize as team leader in the absence of Account Director/Client Services Director.
Skills and experience:
Medical communications agency experience with a good track record of effectively managing projects within an agency environment
Ability to develop and present recommendations and proposals to new and existing clients
Ability to establish strong rapport with new and existing clients
Strong report writing ability
Presentation skills
Management and leadership skills
