We are seeking a Research Associate to study transcriptional and epigenetic regulation of gene expression in cancer at the Department of Cancer and Cell Biology, University of Cincinnati. Located at the Vontz Center for Molecular Studies of the College of Medicine, Dr. Xiaoting Zhang’s laboratory focuses on elucidating molecular mechanisms of gene- and tissue- specific transcriptional cofactors [Mol Cell 19:89-100, PNAS 103: 18504-9.] in health and diseases by using a combination of biochemical, molecular as well as mouse genetic (conditional knockout and mutant knockin) approaches. Interested applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with research experience in biochemistry, molecular or cellular biology. Prior experience with animal studies is a plus.
