This company are one of the most predominant names within the Pharmaceutical development sector with a global reach and outstanding reputation for delivering the highest quality clinical research work. As the company are expanding globally they are looking for a Principal Statistician to join their established Statistics Team to ensure that their reputation for delivering high quality results is upheld.
The Prinicipal Statistician will be responsible for the statistical analysis of clinical trial data as well as the design, monitoring and analysis of specific projects spanning current clinical trials. Other major activities within the role will include trial design, generation of randomisation schemes, development of statistics analysis plans and overseeing the programming and validation of analysis databases and statistical tables.
The Principal Statistician will need to have a degree in Maths or a relavant subject as well as a postgraduate qualification. If a candidate does not have a postgraduate qualification then they must possess addition statistics experience within the clinical research industry. The Principal Statistician will need to have at least 4 years postgraduate industry experience with a Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Contract research organisation.
