Postdoctoral research positions – Tumor Microenvironment Program, The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center
NIH-funded postdoctoral positions are available in the Ostrowski lab to pursue projects studying the tumor microenvironment in breast cancer progression using genetic and genomic approaches (see Nature 2009 461:1084-1091, PMID: 19847259; Science 2009 325:1142-1146;, PMID: 19696312; Cancer Res. 2009 69:6759–6764, PMID: 19706759; Blood 2009 114:1123-1130, PMID: 19411629; Nature 2008 451:73-55, PMID: 18172498; Cancer Res. 2008 68:937-945, PMID: 18245497).
Candidates for positions should have experience in genetics, molecular & cell biology, or genomics as evidenced by publications in major journals. Background in bioinformatics or experience using deep sequencing for ChIP-seq or transcriptome analysis would be especially useful.
Applicants eligible for positions on NIH T32 training grants in Cancer Genetics, Oncology or Immunology are preferred.
