POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

ION CHANNELS AND CALCIUM SIGNALS IN ARTERIAL SMOOTH MUSCLE CELLS

Postdoctoral position available to study physiological functions and pathological alterations in ion channels and local and global calcium signals in arterial smooth muscle cells. Projects include studying IP3 receptors, TRP channels, voltage-dependent Ca2+ channels, and mitochondria. Experience with confocal calcium imaging, patch-clamp electrophysiology, molecular biology, ion channel biochemistry, and cardiovascular physiology preferred.
