Unusual Opportunity for candidates with commercial and patient liaison experience

Company Summary
Our client is a leading Pharmaceutical company with a broad range of products. This is a rare and unusual opportunity for candidates holding strong patient liaison experience (e.g. research nurse) AND commercial experience to join this company. You will be office based in a location easily commutable from Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Surrey or South or West London.

Primary Role:
The Patient Liaison Specialist is responsible for leading the development of the strategy for building and maintaining relationships with key patient organizations, individuals/ families assigned diseases.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Build strong alliances, excellent communication and collaborations with key European Patient Organisations
* Work closely with the European Brand Team to understand business plans and strategies regarding launch products
* Work cross functionally to develop a strategy that coordinates sponsorships, charitable donations and free goods programs in the EMEA region.
* Determine priorities and ensure appropriate budgets
* Participate in cross functional market access / reimbursement meetings to facilitate greater understanding of Patient Organisations.

Education and Experience Required:

* Degree-qualified in a scientific discipline
* 5 years + experience in national and international patient organisation work
* Experience of product launch
Able to travel when necessary (at least 30% travel component)

Desired
* An MBA or business qualification.
