****** NURSE SPECIALIST / ADVISOR (HAEMATOLOGY) REQUIRED – NORTH OF ENGLAND ******
Our client is a well respected, medium sized pharmaceutical company with an exciting opportunity available for a Nurse Specialist to join their team in the Critical Care Division managing the North of England territory (vacancy reference SR 2024), although the focus of your time will be spent in the North West.
Please note that this is a full time position (hours of work will be Monday to Friday inclusive, from 8.30am to 5.30pm – no shift work) and would be the ideal way for an RGN qualified Nurse who is looking for a more commercially facing role; it would also suit candidates currently working as Nurse Advisors - but looking for a new opportunity - the chance to join a progressive organisation which offers a wide range of future career opportunities and ongoing career development. Prior experience of haematology would be an asset but is by no means essential. Whatever your current situation, full training will be given to ensure that you have all of the skills required to work effectively in this role.
As you will be working on behalf of a pharmaceutical company, you will be rewarded with an excellent package including generous basic salary, fully expensed company car, tax-free daily allowance, private pension & healthcare, laptop & mobile telephone etc. Due to the nature of the role, all applicants MUST be RGN qualified with current PIN & NMC registration, hold a full UK driving licence (with 6 points or fewer), be eligible to work in the UK on a full time permanent basis (no working holiday or student visas please) and live within the geographical area they would be responsible for covering.
Working in a completely non promotional capacity your role will involve providing training and education to relevant healthcare professionals at secondary care level with regards to a specialist injectable anticoagulant product, with the aim of increasing their knowledge of the drug and ultimately improving patient care and management. You will also act as a point of liaison between your customers and the sales team, and will assist with developing treatment guidelines at the hospitals you target in collaboration with your customers.
On a personal level, you will have strong interpersonal skills, a desire to continue learning and developing new skills, be IT literate and preferably used to conducting presentations. As this is a field based role which carries a great deal of autonomy (i.e. you will not be based from a certain hospital or work in an office), you must have the ability to prioritise your time and workload effectively and be happy with the daily travel involved with visiting your customers.
For more information or to apply either call us today quoting SR 2024, or apply on line and we will call you back. And if you know someone who you think might be interested pass on our details - you will receive £££ as a 'thank you' if we place them.
We assure you that all applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence, and that your CV will not be sent to either this organisation or any other company without your express consent.
