The School of Chemistry is seeking to make an appointment within the newly established Cardiff Catalysis Institute (CCI). The post will be in the field of Homogeneous Catalysis.
The post forms part of a £2.3M investment to establish a centre of excellence for catalysis that builds upon the current strengths in research at Cardiff. You are expected to have an established international reputation for research in the area of homogeneous catalysis and will play a leadership role in building the CCI to become one of the leading centres for catalysis research in the world. You will be expected to maintain a high level of independent research and at the same time develop collaborative research activities both within Cardiff and externally with academia and industry.
