Health Economist - Health Technology Appraisal
A leading global pharmaceutical company is currently looking to recruit an experienced Economist to join their team. Currently they employ over 81,900 colleagues in more than 150 countries and has steadily growing for over 25 years.
This is an exciting NEW role working with leading academic institutions to stimulate research into HTA methodologies, identifying key trends and helping to increase our positive collaboration with these groups.
You will have a strong background in Economics or Heath Economics with excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects plus be able to think strategically.
You will be meeting with key academics, identifying and commissioning research projects, attending academic conferences, and co-ordinating methods based research with outcomes research evidence based medicines colleagues. You will be developing internal knowledge of HTA policy and methodological trends in the appraisal of medicines. You will also be working alongside UK, EU and Global colleagues to develop core policy positions.
More specifically the client is seeking someone able to build and maintain relationships with engagement, gravitas and knowledge.
