EXPERIENCED MEDICAL/PHARMACEUTICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE, CONSUMER HEALTHCARE PRODUCT
My client is a world renowned, blue chip, market leading healthcare & pharmaceutical company, with an exciting opening for a Medical Sales Representative to manage a territory covering the following geographical area as a result of their continued success and subsequent team expansion nationwide:
SR 2020 Stirling, Perth, Kinross & Fife
In this role you will have responsibility for promoting a market leading range of consumer health products targeting the smoking cessation market, primarily to GPs, practice Nurses, retail pharmacists and smoking cessation clinics.
This is an exciting and sought after position on many levels - because the product you would be selling is a household name access to healthcare professionals will be made so much easier than if you were selling less well known lines (it practically sells itself & patients actually request it by name). This role will require an interesting blend of sales and account management skills plus providing educational support and training. As you will also be responsible for taking orders from retail pharmacists, you will have immediate positive feedback, and a tangible way of measuring your success.
The company are fully committed to providing you with comprehensive initial and ongoing training, and believe very much in promoting from within the organisation. They will offer you supportive, constructive management and coaching in order to bring out the best of your abilities and encourage you to continually develop.
On this occasion our client will only consider someone who is already employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative within this geographical area, in order to gain access to harder to see practices and to ‘hit the ground running’. It’s vitally important that you are enthusiastic, committed, determined to succeed and very self motivated. Above all, an outgoing and sparky personality is essential - you should have enough confidence to close every sale & ask for the business.
As with all field based sales roles of this type, a full UK driving license (with 6 points or fewer) is required and all candidates must be eligible to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis (no working holiday or student visas, please).
In return, you will be rewarded with a generous basic salary (dependent on experience), plus tax free daily allowance, fully expensed company car, laptop & mobile telephone, pension, private healthcare & performance related bonus. The successful candidate will be invited to commence employment as soon as possible.
