We are therefore looking for experienced, key account managers with specialist hospital experience that are used to working on their own initiative & demonstrating high level key account management skills, in the following geographical areas:
SR 2014 Sussex, Kent & SE London
SR 2021 Hampshire & Berkshire
You will be responsible for:
• Products in target therapy areas of Oncology, Haematology, Endocrinology, Nephrology plus PCTs.
• Maximising sales of a portfolio of biosimilar products and increase market share to achieve the overall budget for 2010.
• Effectively negotiate and influence key stakeholders across both specialist secondary care & PCT decision makers
• Through your significant knowledge of the tendering & contract process, protect & win current & future contracts
• To maintain excellent ongoing knowledge of disease area, product and competitor pricing & strategies
• To identify and develop key opinion leaders to positively influence & advocate the Specialist & PCT customers in your territory.
• To identify and action new opportunities which will drive business
• Analyse, plan, implement and review a business plan to ensure highest ROI
• To demonstrate significant success & experience in the pharmaceutical industry with ABPI qualification.
We are seeking competent, driven individuals who demonstrate a good understanding of their responsibilities which will include submitting & driving large tenders, & budgetary accountability teamed with a real entrepreneurial flair. This is a very autonomous role & as such you must be able to critically evaluate the current Biosimilars arena in order to formulate a focussed business plan that will lead to sales success.
As a successful candidate you will need to prove your ability to secure business, highlighting that you are able to problem solve and promote solutions to meet the needs of various NHS sectors. In addition to proving your abundant selling skills, you will clearly display strong business acumen, planning & organisation skills & drive for results. A proven and documented track record of achieving sales success through excellence in account development is essential as is the ability for individuals to demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
As with all field based sales roles of this type, a full UK driving license is require (with 6 points or fewer & no previous driving bans) and all candidates must be eligible to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis (no student or working holiday visas please). In return, you will be rewarded with a generous basic salary (up to £50,000 dependent on experience), plus tax free daily allowance, fully expensed company car, laptop & mobile telephone, pension, private healthcare & performance related bonus.
