This UK company works with clients to identify, develop and deliver new products and services. With an increasing number of projects mainly in medical devices, there is now an opportunity for a customer focused, business savvy, Embedded Software System Architect.

Responsible for guiding the full software “design to implementation” activity of a medical product/application working in liaison with the client technical team throughout the course of a project. Crucially, you will also provide business development and pre-sales specialist input.

With a good technical degree or equivalent you will have commercial design experience developing and implementing software to medical device standards (e.g. 21CFR820, ISO 13485); this should included experience of embedded RTOS (e.g. QNX, Quadros, Nucleus), a grasp of UML diagrams and experience of writing well-structured software (e.g. C, C++).
