E-commerce Data Manager – East Midlands. Zest Scientific Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading player in the supply of consumables and instrumentation to the Scientific research community. The Data Manager will be responsible for the management and development of e-commerce product data held on the main systems in order to provide product data outputs for the web catalogue, hosted e-catalogues and general product data requirements.

The E-commerce Data Manager will provide management to Data Editors, delivering on going training regarding processes and procedures within the e-commerce data area. Managing e-catalogue outputs for specific customers, product data output requests and maintaining product data exports from the published catalogue database system.

The product base is extensive and relates to wide area of scientific applications; as such the successful candidate will ideally have a science related background or alternatively have an interest in science that will enable them to quickly gain an understanding of the technical specifications of the equipment being marketed. It is essential that candidates demonstrate advanced level database use (MS Access or equivalent), some programming experience (Macros / SQL server) is desirable.

In return the successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 - £30,000 + Bonus and a range of additional benefits.
