Term: Permanent and Contract opportunities
Rate: £flexible
Location: Uxbridge
Our client are a leading company specialising in pharmaceutical research and development. They are looking to expand their Drug Safety team in Uxbridge, looking for Drug Safety Specialists either for a short term contract or on a permanent basis.
Purpose of the Role
* Ensure timely and accurate handling and disseminating of reports of adverse drug reactions with marketed products and Serious Adverse Events from clinical trials.
* Track global adverse events; submit expedited cases as well as periodic safety update reports and annual safety reports to our regulatory agencies.
* Medical monitoring activities and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and SOPs.
* Delivering project specific safety reporting procedures and workflows, database customisation and date entry guidelines.
* This role will involve a lot of liaison with the Medical Projects Managers and Directors, Regional Head of PV Operations, Medical Physicians and other senior managers.
Requirements
* Graduate with life science or healthcare degree and proven relevant industry experience within pharmacovigilance.
* Understanding of the importance of pharmacovigilance in ethical pharmaceutical marketing and development.
* Use of MS Office products to a competent standard - Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
The ideal candidate should have 2 years experience within drug safety and be a strong communicator.
