Contracts and Proposals Manager - Permanent - Middlesex
An outstanding opportunity to work with a world leading, full-service Clinical Research Organisation (CRO). Due to a broad range of studies in the pipeline the role will provide continuous variety for the successful applicant, with exposure to the proposals and contract process for some of the most crucial drugs and devices trials in the industry.
Role Summary
Manage all proposals and contracts through management of processes, standards, documentation and negotiations. Become the main point of contact for the client regarding contract questions and issues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Proposals:
* Overall management responsibility for the proposal and contract process
* Perform research to support proposal development
* Contribute to strategy meetings by identifying issues and client requirements
* Write and create proposal text to reflect strategy discussions, meeting client needs, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of text etc
* Evaluate budget, ensure consistency and competitiveness of budgets and meet strict deadlines
* Participate in proposal defence meetings
Contract Management
* Serve as primary client contact during the negotiation phase and remain as poc with clients
* On-going proactive involvement with project management
* Management any changes e.g. change of scope, amendments, additional negotiations
* May have some Line Management responsibilities
Experience and Education
' Bachelors Degree in Life Science, Business. MBA preferred
' Comprehensive knowledge of proposal and contract management with previous experience in proposal, contract administration preferably in Pharma industry
' Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases)
' Fluent in English
