Contract SAS Programmer/Statistician

An expanding and world renowned Pharmaceutical company are looking for a Contract SAS programmer/Statistician to join their well established team. The potential for the contract to be extended as they have a very robust and exciting pipeline. As a SAS Programmer/Statistician within this company you will be a part of some exciting new developments within the industry.
The Contract SAS Programmer/Statistician will be responsible for carrying out SAS programming within the statistics department through the use of SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS Graph and SAS STAT. In addition the Contract SAS Programmer/Statistician will be required to provide support to the Statistics group as and when required. The contract SAS Programmer/Statistician will also be involved with program validation for analysis datasets, statistical tables and listings. The contract SAS Programmer/Statistician will be required to create robust software applications and Macro's using SAS.
The Contract SAS Programmer/Statistician will need to be degree educated with at least 3 years post study SAS programming experience either within a CRO or a pharmaceutical company. Experience of working as a statistician within a clinical research setting is also required for this role. If you have been a statistician and SAS programming has been a part of your role this would be adequate. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK in order to be considered for this position.
