This is a great opportunity for a career contractor within SAS to gain some stability in a long term contract or for an experienced SAS programmer to get a taste of contracting whilst in a secure long term contract. One of the worlds most innovative and most rapidly expanding Pharmaceutical companies are looking to add high calibre programmers to their team in Hertfordshire in order to deal with their extensive workload, which has come about due to their strong pipeline.
The Contract SAS Programmer will be responsible for carrying out SAS programming within the statistics department through the use of SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS Graph and SAS STAT. The contract Statistical Programmer will also be involved with program validation for analysis datasets, statistical tables and listings. The contract Statistical Programmer will be required to create robust software applications and Macro's using SAS.
The Contract SAS Programmer will need to be degree educated with at least 3 years post study SAS programming experience either within a CRO or a pharmaceutical company. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK in order to be considered for this position.
