The CONTEST Science and Technology Programme is a Home Office led cross-Government research programme to use science and technology to reduce the UK risk from International terrorism. The Home Office works in partnership with other Government Departments and Agencies to ensure that science and technology research is developed and managed to address prioritised research requirements.
The Home Office would like to invite interested parties to submit applied research proposals, focussed on incidents involving CBRN materials, for award of contracts in financial year 2010/11. Proposals will be considered against the requirements published on the Home Office OSCT website. Closing date for outline proposals is 8 January 2010.
