Our client is a Contract Research Organisation who currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager. You will be Responsible and accountable for the overall conduct of clinical studies assigned. To act as an interface between the technical/laboratory staff supporting Phase I-IV clinical trials and the client/clinical investigators/data managers.

You will:-
• Maintain via literature, a current awareness of techniques, instrumentation and methodology relating to clinical pathology
• Ensure all services provided by Clinical Study Management meet all current regulatory compliance and internationally recognised quality standards
• Work closely with relevant departments such as Immunoassay, Bioanalysis, Experimental Biology etc to develop and promote Clinical Study Management internally and externally
• Design and generate documentation for clinical investigators for the conduct of clinical trials involving company services
• To keep accurate records on study progress
• To check and control data records
• Assist with data cleansing, data audit and management for all data produced form laboratory investigations supporting clinical trials
• Provide logistic support for the Manager Global Logistics
• Monitor and ensure all study specific timelines are met
• Assist with training of new members of the Clinical Study Management team as required
• Ensure personal and team responsibilities to health, safety and wellbeing are adhered to.
• Prepare a critical self-assessment and undergo formal appraisals at appropriate intervals


Requirements
• Knowledge of clinical trial process with either a scientific/pharmaceutical or nursing discipline background Demonstrated knowledge of Clinical Trial process
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous project management experience in relevant clinical trial discipline with either CRO, Pharma or Central Laboratory
• Relevant scientific/nursing experience

Qualifications
• The position requires a degree in a relevant scientific discipline.

Salary Up to £40,000 based in Cambridgeshire
