****** NURSE SPECIALIST / ADVISOR (EPILEPSY) REQUIRED ******

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Nurse Specialist to join their team in the Bristol & South Wales area (vacancy reference SR 2022).

Please note that this is a full time position (hours of work will be Monday to Friday inclusive, from 8.30am to 5.30pm – no shift work) and would be the ideal way for an RGN qualified Nurse who is looking for a more commercially facing role whilst maintaining their patient contact; it would also suit candidates currently working as Nurse Advisors - but looking for a new opportunity - the chance to join a progressive organisation which offers a wide range of future career opportunities and ongoing career development. Prior experience of managing epilepsy patients would be an asset but is by no means essential; however it is vital that all applicants have previous neurology experience. Whatever your current situation, full training will be given to ensure that you have all of the skills required to work effectively in this role, and your nursing credentials will be kept up to date.

As you will be working on behalf of a medical devices company, you will be rewarded with an excellent package including generous basic salary, fully expensed company car, tax-free daily allowance, private pension & healthcare, laptop & mobile telephone etc. Due to the nature of the role, all applicants MUST be RGN qualified with current PIN & NMC registration, hold a full UK driving licence (with 6 points or fewer), be eligible to work in the UK on a full time permanent basis (no working holiday or student visas please) and live within the geographical area they would be responsible for covering.

• Bristol Frenchay – 2 days per week
• University Hospital Wales – 2 days per week
• St Georges Hospital Surrey – 1 day per week, or 1 day per fortnight.

On a personal level, you will have strong interpersonal skills, a desire to continue learning and developing new skills, be IT literate and adept at managing your own caseload. As this is a field based role which carries a great deal of autonomy (i.e. you will not be based from a certain hospital everyday or work in an office), you must have the ability to prioritise your time effectively and be happy with the daily travel involved with visiting your customers. Previous practice or community nursing experience would be preferred, and you will be self motivated with some commercial acumen.

For more information or to apply either call us today quoting SR 2022, or apply on line and we will call you back. And if you know someone who you think might be interested pass on our details - you will receive £££ as a 'thank you' if we place them.

We assure you that all applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence, and that your CV will not be sent to either this organisation or any other company without your express consent.
