Our client, an International healthcare communications agency in Buckinghamshire, has an opening for an experienced Business Development Manager/Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurial and enthusiastic candidate to take on a pivotal role in the company in identifying new business opportunities and generating new business in the UK and in Europe.
The role:
You will identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans and sales strategies for new markets
Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent client support
Liaise with senior management and decision makers as well as with other members of staff
Responsibilities for new business development will include generating leads, cold calling, leading client presentations, mail campaigns, researching the industry and news press etc
Coordination of the bid processes, budgets and timelines
Skills and experience:
Healthcare communications / Healthcare Advertising business development experience is required for this role
Proven business development experience with the UK and Europe will be a definite advantage
Passion for building strong relationships with clients and championing integrated marketing solutions
Have established business contacts in the industry
Strong financial management skills
Excellent communication and influencing skills
