A position is available for computational scientist with five years experience in algorithms development at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
Position Requirements:
Background should include solid training in statistics and programming in C/C++. Desirable but not essential to have experience in: mapping of DNA and RNA sequences, analysis of nucleic acid sequences for biological features, and experience with large sequence databases. Excellent communication skills (i.e. oral and written) and the ability to work in multi-discipline scientific team are essential. Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Informatics, or equivalent industry required.
