We are seeking applications for an Assistant Subject Manager to join a committed and expanding team that provides a range of diploma, degree and post graduate programmes in Biological, Forensic and Sport Sciences.

The department has accredited programmes, excellent ratings in recent quality reviews and has attracted significant post RAE08 QR funding. The successful candidate will have a doctorate in an appropriate aspect of sport and exercise physiology, post-doctoral research experience and will provide leadership to the Sport and Exercise Group in the context of the Department of Biology, Forensics and Sport.

You will contribute to teaching and curriculum development primarily within exercise and health physiology and research methods aspects of our Sport and Exercise Science and Sport and Exercise Studies programmes within the Department’s Sport and Exercise group. You will also contribute to the development of the PG and short course portfolio and provide leadership for the generation of research and consultancy in the School of Science. Importantly therefore the successful candidate will have experience of working collaboratively across the sport and exercise sector.
