ACCOUNT MANAGER – Europe

As part of the SNBL USA Client Services team, the primary role of the Account Manager will be to utilize their scientific expertise to contribute to business development activities that educate clients about the preclinical services provided at SNBL USA. This position will partner with international clients to recommend solutions to a wide range of preclinical study design challenges. The Senior Account Manager will work remotely from Europe, guiding our clients and potential clients through the preclinical process by working closely with our in house scientific experts to ensure high quality design and services.
Summary:
Focus on building and maintaining strong business and scientific relationships with new and current clients located within Europe; Respond to client study inquiries, provide scientific guidance, assist in study protocol design and present cost estimates; Work with study directors and SNBL USA management to ensure clients’ expectations are met; Travel includes industry meetings and client visits to represent the preclinical research capabilities of SNBL USA; Perform research on current industry trends and provide benchmarking data to senior management at SNBL USA; Position will involve sales of animals for study use.
Required Education & Experience:
BS/MS degree (or international equivalent) in relevant scientific discipline such as Pharmacology, Biology or Biochemistry; 5+ year’s experience of successfully selling and marketing preclinical services to the Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries; Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) are required; Thorough understanding of GLP (e.g. FDA, MLHW or OECD), 21 CFR part 11, and ICH guidelines as well as knowledge pertaining to the entire drug development process from late research stage and IND though all phases of clinical drug development; Ability to travel internationally at least 2x’s yearly. The Account Manager may initially train in the United States for a period of up to 1 month.
