The Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research and the Department of Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology invite applications for a junior or senior faculty appointment in the general area of cancer biology. Areas of interests include, but are not limited to: immunology, cancer genomics, proteomics, chemical biology, systems biology, and metastasis and stem cell biology. The candidate will be expected to lead a research program as well as participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching. The Koch Institute is new, formed by combining the Center for Cancer Research, an NCI-designated Cancer Center, and a group of outstanding engineering faculty. The Institute will occupy a new building in 2010.
Applicants should include curriculum vitae, brief summaries of past accomplishments and a description of future research plans. Letters of recommendations should be sent separately from three scientists that evaluate the candidate’s accomplishments and future potential for both research and teaching.
