Successful candidates for an Associate Research Scientist positions must have a Ph.D. degree and at least three years of postdoctoral research experience, specifically in the area of the molecular biology of HIV replication, somatic cell genetics, and mechanisms of virus resistance. In addition, the position requires demonstrated expertise in molecular, genetic and biochemical techniques used to study viral gene expression, especially focused on mRNA processing, transport, or translation.
